Job summary

HireQuest Direct Bellingham is seeking an experienced Class A CDL driver for local log hauling across Northwest Washington. You will operate newer Kenworth trucks on highways and off-road routes, with independent work and emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Two years of verifiable Class A driving experience are required to qualify, with training available for drivers new to log hauling. This role offers commission-based earnings and employer-provided equipment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• At least two full years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
• Ability to work independently and maintain safety-first approach.
• Comfort driving on highways, mountain and logging roads, and off-highway areas.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport logs and timber products from forest sites to designated locations.
• Operate on highways, mountain roads, logging roads, and off-highway areas.
• Inspect assigned equipment and keep it in safe operating condition.
• Promptly report maintenance, equipment, or safety concerns.
• Follow laws, regulations, company procedures, and log-transport safety requirements.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and on time.
• Communicate professionally and maintain dependable attendance.
• Manage assigned work responsibly and independently.
