Job summary

Gordon Food Service is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to service local routes and deliver food products to customers with daily home time. You will unload cases up to 100 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart and ramp during shifts.

Starting early with a Monday–Friday schedule, drivers can expect weekly pay and a pay structure that reflects miles, stops, and cases delivered, with total compensation around $75k–$85k per year. Safety and compliance are emphasized throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Class A CDL License at hire or within 90 days of start date.
• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads up to 350 pounds.
• Pass a drug test and a background check.
• Clean driving record; as required by DOT standards.
• Must be registered through the DOT Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and institutions.
• Unload cases up to 100 lbs and use a ramp and two-wheeler.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: 791 Commerce Park Dr. Ste 2 Akron, OH

In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM-5 AM until route finish

Pay: Drivers average $75,000 - $85,000year
