Job summary

Gordon Food Service in Marysville, OH is seeking a CDL A Delivery Driver to serve local routes, build relationships with customers, and bring essential food products to restaurants, schools, and hospitals. Day shifts, home every day, and routes start early.

You will unload up to 100 lbs, operate a two-wheel cart, and must pass a drug test and background check. Strong safety record and DOT compliance required.

Qualifications

• At least 21 years of age.
• Class A CDL license at hire.
• Ability to unload cases up to 100 lbs and operate a two-wheel cart.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift.
• Must read, write and communicate in English.
• Pass a drug test and background check.
• Clean driving record per DOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food products to restaurants, schools, hospitals, and more.
• Build relationships with customers and ensure on-time local deliveries.
• Unload and handle cases and pallets using approved equipment.
• Follow safety procedures and DOT guidelines on all routes.

CDL A Delivery Driver

Location: Marysville, OH

Do you have a passion for driving? Are you looking for more home time? Picture yourself as a delivery driver with Gordon Food Service! In this position, you will be building relationships with customers while delivering food products essential to restaurants, schools, hospitals, universities, and more. Day shifts and local routes mean you'll be home every day. You'll be required to unload cases up to 100 lbs, and you'll be using a ramp and two-wheeler throughout your shift. Schedule: Monday-Friday. Start time 3 AM - 6 AM until the route is finished

Pay: Drivers average $75K - $95K /year

• Guaranteed minimum of $1100/week

• Daily base pay, plus component pay

Does this look like you?

• At least 21 years of age

• Class A CDL License at hire

• Ability to operate a two-wheel cart with loads of up to 350 pounds

• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs throughout the shift

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English (to read labels, pick lists, scanners, signage, company website information related to benefits, updates, complete paperwork, and follow verbal instructions)

• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage (including marijuana) and a background check

• Clean driving record; as required by DOT and Gordon Food Service standards

• You must be registered through the Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and provide electronic consent in order to be considered for employment with us effective January 6th, 2020.
