Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking a Class A Local Dry Van Company Driver in Albany, NY. This overnight, Monday–Friday dedicated route offers home daily and weekends off. You will transport automotive parts on a dedicated route while adhering to DOT and TSA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED; 5 years driving experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 2 years verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Clean MVR: no more than 4 moving violations in 3 years; no more than 2 preventable accidents in 3 years; no DUIs in 5 years.
• DOT testing and physical requirements; pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Ability to read, speak and understand English per regulations.
• Drivers must live within 45 miles of Albany, NY or be willing to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Transport automotive parts on a dedicated local route.
• Operate a local overnight run with home daily schedule.
• Maintain safe, efficient handling of freight and compliance with DOT/TSA requirements.
• Utilize newer fleet equipment with electronic logs and safety features.

CEVA Logistics is hiring aClass A Local Dry Van Company Driver in Albany, NY. This is an overnight position, Dedicated run, Monday – Friday with weekends off. The driver will transport automotive parts to and from specified destinations on a dedicated route. You will be handling freight in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.

Home Daily | Weekends Off

Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,785
  • $356.91 nightly route pay
• Paid via direct deposit weekly

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• 10:00pm dispatch time
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Route: Dedicated
• Touch Freight (auto parts) – moving roller cages, bulky items delivering for Auto account

Equipment

• Newer fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, full maintenance support, safety features and electronic logs

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A License
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years of recent verifiable CDL A tractor-trailer driving experience
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • No more than 4 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
  • No DUIs/DWIs/OWI’s in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within45 miles of Albany, NY or be willing to relocate for this position
