Job summary

ABF Freight, a leading less-than-truckload carrier, seeks a skilled driver for local pickup and delivery duties near our distribution centers. You will load and unload trailers using standard dock methods and adapt to schedule variations by terminal location.

The role requires 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience (training may be available), a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements, and a valid DOT/medical screening.

Qualifications

• 1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience or eligible for training.
• Must be at least 21 years of age and have a good stable work record.
• Possess a Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker and hazmat endorsements.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and delivery of cargo to and from destinations usually within proximity of the consolidation/distribution center.
• Loading and unloading of trailers using standard dock worker techniques.
• Schedule may vary by terminal location.
