Job summary

Saia LTL Freight is seeking a Class A CDL truck driver to operate tractor-trailers between company terminals and customer facilities in the South Bend area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age and valid CDL-A.
• Hazmat, tanker, and twin trailer endorsements.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Authorized to work in the United States and able to read/write English.

Responsibilities

• Drives tractor trailers to deliver and pick up customer freight.
• Sorts, handles, loads, and unloads freight at company and customer locations.
• Plans routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries and pickups.
• Follows pre-trip, post-trip, and freight handling procedures; conducts safety inspections.
• Maintains records and load-related paperwork; serves as first point of contact for delivery issues.
