Job summary

Saia LTL Freight seeks experienced drivers to operate tractor trailer combinations across long distances. The ideal candidate must hold a valid Class A CDL, have a clean driving record, and possess excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities include safely delivering freight, maintaining logs, and adhering to DOT regulations. Flexible scheduling is required, including evenings and weekends. Competitive compensation is provided based on experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• At least 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• No DUIs or serious traffic violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Drive tractor trailers to deliver and pickup freight.
• Conduct inspections following established safety procedures.
• Maintain records and logs related to loads.

Skills

Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements

Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds

Excellent customer service skills
