Best Buy Metals in Knoxville, TN is seeking a CDL-A Local Delivery Driver to safely operate Ram 4500/5500 trucks and deliver metal roofing and building materials to customer sites.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule, home daily, local routes, and steady hours with weekly pay. Pay ranges from $22–$24 per hour, with benefits after 60 days. You will perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain DOT logs for compliant deliveries.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• At least 21 years old.
• Clean motor vehicle record.
• Current Medical Certificate or ability to obtain one.
• Registered with FMCSA.
• Ability to lift and perform physical tasks including bending, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Confidence working independently on the road.
• Experience maneuvering trailers longer than 25 feet in tight spaces or remote areas.
• Strong safety awareness and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Ram 4500 and 5500 medium-duty trucks with specialized delivery trailers
• Deliver metal roofing and related materials to customer locations
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Load, secure, and unload materials safely by hand or with equipment
• Maintain DOT and FMCSA logs and compliance requirements when needed
• Communicate professionally with customers before, during, and after delivery
• Ensure accurate, on-time deliveries
