Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN with local home daily routes, a 40+ hour week, weekly pay, and a solid benefits package designed to support you.

Operate a 26' straight truck with lift gate, load/unload as needed, and follow all safety rules. Benefits begin after 30 days, PTO from Day 1, boot allowance, and a 401(k) with company match; Hazmat endorsement required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle checks for last 3 years.
• Pass a DOT physical and Ryder road test.
• Possess valid CDL with required endorsements.
• Class A or Class B experience in tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• 9 months experience within past 3 years, OR 2 years in last 5 years, OR 5 years in last 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and guidelines.
• Maintain accurate records and logs.
• Loading/unloading freight as required by customer.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
