Job summary

Ryder is hiring a Class B HEAVY TOUCH CDL Truck Driver in Knoxville, TN, with local routes and home daily. Expect 40–50 hours weekly, paid training, and a Monday–Friday schedule. Vehicles are 36 months or newer, with nationwide maintenance support.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A or Class B verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle.
• Minimum 21 years of age and ability to pass required screenings.
• Pass Ryder drug test, background, and motor vehicle checks and a DOT physical.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with federal/state laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Load/unload freight or assist with loading as required by customer.
• Operate safe, well-maintained equipment and perform logs as needed.
