Job summary

CrossCountry Freight Solutions is hiring a CDL A Linehaul Driver to transfer freight to locations across the Western and Central United States. Drivers are home daily with weekends off, enjoying a healthy work-life balance while handling trailer hookups, documentation, and long-haul runs.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, Hazmat/Tanker endorsements (or willingness to obtain), and at least 1 year of experience. A pre-employment skills assessment is required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL is required.
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements or willingness to obtain them (renewals reimbursable).
• At least 1 year of commercial driving experience.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 3 years.
• No more than 3 traffic violations in the past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Hook up and haul trailers between customer/terminal locations as directed.
• Ensure shipping docs are ready for DOT inspection and accompany shipments.
• Operate tractor-trailer over long distances and extended periods.
