Job summary

Average annual pay is around $107,000, and the role includes a Tuition Reimbursement Program for recent trucking school graduates. We value safety, DOT compliance, and teamwork at OD.

Qualifications

• Reads, writes, and speaks English.
• 12 months tractor-trailer driving experience or graduate of state certified trucking school.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations governing safe driving, hours of service, inspection and maintenance.
• Must possess a valid Class A CDL with double/triple trailers, tanker, and hazmat endorsements.
• Ability to read maps, logs, and perform simple calculations.
• Must satisfactorily pass drug and alcohol tests.
• Must complete orientation/training by an OD driver trainer.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor-trailer combinations over long distances safely within DOT rules.
• Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure load stability and safe distribution.
• Record deliveries using tablets/phones and navigate to destinations.
• Unload and secure freight at drop-off locations; adjust load as needed.
• Be available for around-the-clock shifts and extended time away from home.
