TransAm in Detroit is seeking a CDL-A Lease Purchase Driver to join our Detroit, MI operations. You’ll drive your own truck under a structured lease-purchase program designed to transition you to owner-operator status.

This role emphasizes ownership along with a competitive pay package and benefits. You’ll work with 24/7 dispatch, modern equipment, health, dental, and vision coverage, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off as you progress toward full ownership.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license with at least 3 months verifiable driving experience.
• Clean MVR with no more than 3 minor violations in 3 years.
• No DUI/DWI convictions.
• Must pass DOT physical and pre-employment drug screen.
• No at-fault preventable accidents in past 3 years.
• Must operate within the carrier's hiring area.

Responsibilities

• Drive your own truck as a Lease Purchase Driver toward full ownership.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations.
• Coordinate with dispatch for schedules and routes.
