Job summary

Schneider is hiring for an Intermodal truck driver to haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis in the Northeast. This position offers 99% no-touch freight, 70% drop-and-hook, and weekly home time.

Must have valid Class A CDL, tanker and HazMat endorsements preferred; 3 months of Class A driving experience; live within 50 miles of Tunkhannock, PA. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and more.

Average pay: $1,580-$1,930 weekly

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.

• 99% no-touch freight with 70% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within the Northeast.

Pay and bonus potential

• Hourly pay and load pay.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.

• Live within 50 miles of Tunkhannock, PA.

• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
