Job summary

Schneider is seeking an Intermodal truck driver to haul freight containers with company-owned chassis and predominantly no-touch freight in the Northeast region. Expect weekly home time and a strong sign-on bonus for experienced drivers.

Qualified applicants have a Valid Class A CDL, tanker and hazmat endorsements preferred, and a minimum of 3 months of driving experience. Relocation not required, compensation includes comprehensive benefits and paid orientation.

Average pay: $1,580-$1,930 weekly

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.

• 99% no-touch freight with 70% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within the Northeast.

Pay and bonus potential

• Hourly pay and load pay.

• $10,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
