Job summary

Schneider National, Inc. is seeking an Intermodal truck driver to haul freight containers on company-owned chassis in the Leesburg area. The role offers weekly home time and competitive pay with bonus opportunities.

You will operate largely no-touch freight with drop-and-hook, and drive in and out of railyards across DE, MD, PA, VA and WV. Benefits include orientation pay, holiday pay, and potential bonuses for experienced drivers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Winchester, VA.

Average pay: $1,440-$1,760 weekly

Home time: Weekly

Overview

• Haul freight containers secured to company-owned chassis.

• 99% no-touch freight with 80% drop-and-hook.

• Drive in and out of railyards within DE, MD, PA, VA and WV.

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay and load pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.

• $15,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.

• $5,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for inexperienced drivers.

• Paid orientation.

• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.

• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
