Job summary

Schneider National is seeking experienced intermodal drivers to haul automotive freight in containers on company-owned chassis. This role features 100% no-touch freight that is 90% drop-and-hook, with railyard runs across IL, IN, MI and OH.

You will receive mileage pay, on-duty hourly pay when not driving, and a $12,000 sign-on bonus paid in 12 monthly installments during the first year, plus paid orientation.

Qualifications

• CDL A required
• Tanker endorsement strongly preferred
• HazMat endorsement strongly preferred
• Live within 50 miles of Sturtevant, WI
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience

Pay and bonus potential

• Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty, not driving.
• $12,000 sign-on bonus paid over 12 monthly payments in your first year for experienced drivers.
• Paid orientation.
• Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
• Annual bonus: Earn up to 3% of annual gross pay each year.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
• Tanker endorsement and HazMat endorsement are strongly preferred.
• Live within 50 miles of Sturtevant, WI.
• Minimum 3 months of Class A driving experience.
