Job summary

JENNMAR Services in the Washington County area is seeking experienced Hot Shot Drivers for local and OTR routes. These full-time positions offer competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities include operating medium duty trucks, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections, securing loads per DOT rules, maintaining logs, and coordinating with dispatch. CDL-A and DOT medical card required; 1+ year experience preferred. Health, dental, vision, PTO and 401(k) available.

Qualifications

• Valid/Current DOT medical card or the ability to obtain one.
• 1+ years experience in hot shot/truck driving.
• Clean MVR and the ability to pass pre-employment checks.
• Must hold a valid CDL A license with endorsements.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate medium duty trucks with specialized trailers to haul equipment and materials to sites.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain logs per DOT rules.
• Drive according to company procedures and DOT regulations.
• Ensure loads are secured to prevent damage or loss.
• Communicate with dispatch/Trucking Manager as needed.
• Oversee loading and unloading processes to prevent damage.
• Notify management of maintenance or repair needs.
• Maintain delivery and driving logs in compliance with DOT regulations.
