Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Hot Shot Drivers for the Washington County area. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities include operating medium-duty trucks with trailers to haul equipment and materials to job sites, performing pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring loads are secured per DOT regulations. Maintain logs, communicate with dispatch, and comply with safety standards.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license and DOT medical card (or ability to obtain)
• 1+ years of experience
• Clean MVR
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug test, background and MVR checks
• Valid driver's license; CDL A preferred

Responsibilities

• Operate medium-duty trucks with specialized trailers to haul equipment, LTL freight, and materials to company and customer job sites
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Drive and operate in accordance with DOT rules and company safety standards
• Ensure loads are properly secured per DOT regulations and safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch and Trucking Manager as needed
• Oversee loading/unloading processes to prevent damage
• Notify Trucking Manager/Mechanics of maintenance or repairs required
• Maintain detailed delivery and driving logs per DOT regulations
