Job summary

JENNMAR Services is seeking experienced Hot Shot Drivers to service the Washington County area. This full-time role offers competitive pay and a comprehensive benefits plan.

Responsibilities include operating medium-duty trucks with specialized trailers, performing inspections, adhering to DOT rules, securing loads, and maintaining logs. A valid CDL A is a plus with required DOT physical, clean MVR, and pre-employment screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid/Current DOT physical or ability to obtain one.
• 2+ years experience
• Clean MVR
• Able to pass a pre-employment drug test, background and MVR checks
• Must have valid drivers license, CDL A is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operate Medium Duty trucks with specialized trailers to haul equipment, Less-than-truckload freight, and materials to company and customer job sites
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections
• Drive and conduct operations according to company and DOT rules and regulations
• Ensure load contents are properly secured to prevent damage or breakage according to DOT regulations and company safety standards
• Communicate with dispatch/Trucking Manager as needed
• Oversee Loading and Unloading process to prevent damage or breakage
• Notify Trucking Manager/Mechanics of any maintenance or repairs required to the truck
• Maintain detailed delivery and driving logs according to DOT regulations
