Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions seeks an experienced Heavy Haul Driver to safely transport heavy equipment to and from job sites across the Central Southwest region. You will ensure timely deliveries, proper load securement, and adherence to company policies and DOT regulations.

The role requires operating various tractor-trailer configurations, completing inspections, and maintaining accurate logs. Strong safety awareness and independent work capability are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Requires Valid Class A CDL and clean driving record.
• 2–3 years hauling experience with heavy equipment preferred.
• Knowledge of DOT hours-of-service rules and load securement standards.
• Ability to read permits, route plans, and delivery paperwork.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy haul trucks and trailers as assigned.
• Transport heavy equipment to and from job sites and yards.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain logs.
• Secure loads according to DOT regulations and company policy.
• Communicate with dispatch and site personnel regarding deliveries.
• Follow safety rules and report issues promptly.
