Job summary

Empire Southwest is seeking a safety-minded driver to operate transportation equipment for pick-up and delivery of machinery, parts, and related loads. You will drive trucks with or without trailers and must secure loads, inspect equipment, and comply with DOT rules.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, ensuring accurate manifests, and reporting any damages or safety concerns promptly. A valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Doubles/Triples, and Tanker endorsements is required to hire.

Qualifications

• Must follow DOT regulations and safety policies.
• Ability to load/unload and secure loads properly.
• English literacy and clear communication required.

Responsibilities

• Operate transportation equipment for pick-up and delivery of machinery and parts.
• Secure loads with chains, straps, and other hardware; inspect before travel.
• Keep manifests accurate; document any load issues or damages.
• Adhere to safety policies and comply with all company standards.
• Report equipment or load problems promptly to supervision.
