Job summary

NorthStar Energy Solutions, LLC is hiring a Heavy Haul Driver to safely transport heavy equipment and oversized loads to and from job sites, yards, vendors, and project locations. The role supports field operations by ensuring timely delivery, proper load securement, and compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities include operating various trailers, planning routes for overweight loads, maintaining accurate logs, and coordinating with dispatch and managers.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record.
• Minimum 3 years of tractor-trailer experience; heavy haul/ Equipment transport preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy haul trucks, lowboys, and related trailers.
• Transport heavy construction and utility equipment to and from job sites.
• Load, secure, and verify loads per DOT and company standards.
• Perform pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain logs, permits, and delivery documentation accurately.
• Communicate with dispatch and site personnel about pickup and delivery status.
