R. J. Corman Railroad Services in Nicholasville, KY seeks a Heavy Equipment Operator to join the field team. The role requires operating heavy and specialized machinery on a rotating schedule, with extensive travel and outdoor work in all weather.

Candidates must hold a CDL-A with manual endorsement and a DOT medical card, plus experience with heavy equipment. A background check, drug screen, and physical capacity test are required to ensure safety and compliance.

Formación

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsabilidades

• Travel extensively on a rotating schedule (typically 8 days on, 6 days off).
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Perform digging, hammering, and other physical tasks with various tools.
• Operate heavy or specialized equipment (e.g., Tripp Mach, Mark IV Tamper, TKO, Regulator, M320, Trackhoe, Dozer, Crane).
• Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE use.
• Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

R. J. Corman Railroad Services is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team in Nicholasville, KY.

Responsibilities

• Travel extensively in a rotating schedule for adequate work-life balance (typically 8 days on, 6 days off).
• Be comfortable working outside in all weather conditions.
• Perform digging, hammering, and other physical types of work with various tools.
• Operate heavy or specialized equipment (i.e., Tripp Mach, Mark IV Tamper, TKO, Regulator, M320, Trackhoe, Dozer, Crane, etc.).
• Practice safe working habits and ensure proper PPE is being used.
• Communicate with team and supervisor throughout the job process.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Specialized Or Technical Knowledge, Education And Experience

• Valid CDL-A with no restrictions, manual endorsement, and DOT medical card required.
