Qualdoc in Fort Worth, TX seeks a CDL-A Heavy Equipment Laborer for a hands-on field role involving equipment transportation, heavy machinery operation, and material handling. Driving accounts for about 10% of the job, with the rest spent on labor and equipment tasks.

Expect 40 hours per week with significant overtime; 60+ hours on average and some weeks reaching 70. 24/7 on-call, with time-and-a-half pay for non-standard hours. Benefits included.

Formación

• Possess valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
• Experience in construction or physically demanding roles preferred.
• Willingness to train and obtain safety qualifications.
• Availability for 24/7 emergency callouts, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
• Drive tractor-trailers to job sites and inspect loads and equipment.
• Verify permits for oversized/ overweight loads.
• Participate in daily safety briefings and coordinate work plans.
• Load, unload, stage, secure, and transport equipment and materials.
• Assist with cranes and other heavy equipment operations.
• Support emergency recovery operations with rigging and winch equipment.
• Operate heavy machinery as qualified and perform basic maintenance.
