Job summary

CHS Inc. in Jamestown, ND is seeking a full-time CDL A Truck Driver to deliver refined fuels and propane to CHS customer locations, safely and efficiently, on a home-daily 5 on/2 off schedule.

Responsibilities include pre-trip/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading, maintaining logs, and complying with safety regulations for bulk liquids; candidates must have Hazmat/Tanker endorsements and 2+ years in supply chain or transportation.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat/Tanker endorsements.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain and Transportation/Logistics.
• Must meet minimum age requirement.
• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• Pre-employment screenings may include drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMCSA Clearinghouse.

Responsibilities

• Deliver commodities to customer locations in a safe, punctual, and efficient manner.
• Complete daily maintenance report and notify shop supervisor of any needed repairs.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections as well as loading and unloading products.
• Follow all guidelines and regulations for hauling bulk liquid products including Petroleum, Propane, and Anhydrous Ammonia.
• Maintain electronic logs and on-board computer with each shipment.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands – may include weekends.
