Job summary

CHS Inc. in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Hazmat Truck Driver to haul refined fuels and propane to local customers. This is a majority home daily role with a 5 days on and 2 days off schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL (as required for the equipment/route)
• Hazmat and Tanker endorsements required
• 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience
• Must meet age requirement
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials to customer sites in a safe, compliant manner
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness
• Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, coordinate with customers and internal teams
• Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; submit maintenance reports and elevate repair needs and equipment issues promptly
• Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns; execute required response and reporting procedures
• Support related tasks such as equipment hookups, site readiness checks, and assigned duties
