Job summary

CHS Inc. in Jamestown, ND is seeking a Hazmat Truck Driver to join our team. The role focuses on hauling refined fuels and propane to local customers with a home-daily, five-on two-off schedule.

A Class A or B CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements and 2+ years of tractor-trailer experience are required. You will deliver hazardous energy-grade materials safely, comply with DOT regulations, perform pre/post-trip inspections, manage documentation, and provide professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements.
• 2+ years of verifiable CDL driving experience.
• Must meet age requirement.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and compliance, and complete required documentation accurately.

Responsibilities

• Operate a semi-tractor and tanker trailer to deliver hazardous energy-grade materials to customer sites in a safe, compliant manner.
• Comply with DOT regulations and company policies for safe driving, including route and hazard awareness.
• Load and unload products by connecting/disconnecting loading arms and hoses; follow all hazardous material handling and transfer safety procedures.
• Deliver professional, customer-focused service during pickups and deliveries, coordinate with customers and internal teams.
• Prepare delivery documentation and daily load/unload reports; record accurate electronic logs.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections; submit maintenance reports and escalating repair needs and equipment issues promptly.
• Immediately notify leadership of incidents, near misses, spills/releases, or safety concerns; execute required response and reporting procedures.
• Support related tasks such as equipment hookups, site readiness checks, and assigned duties
