Cheney Brothers is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in Winter Haven, FL, with 6-12+ months of experience. You will drive tractor/trailer or straight truck to deliver food products, perform safety inspections, and maintain records per DOT rules. Must be 21+, pass background checks, and obtain a DOT Health Card.

Local, intrastate, and OTR routes are possible. Average annual pay ranges from $80,000 to $90,000, with benefits starting Day 1 and opportunities for growth within a supportive

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 6-12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift; product generally ranges from between 10-35 pounds and up to between approximately 60 and 90 pounds, depending on the location

Responsabilités

• Communicate professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Deliver orders according to route and collect signatures.
• Unload, secure, and document freight.
• Complete daily hours of service records.
• Maintain clean vehicle and loading dock area.
• Report safety hazards immediately.
• Follow DOT regulations and company policies.
