Job summary

Vistar is hiring a CDL-A delivery driver in Georgia. You will drive tractor trailer or straight truck locally and over-the-road to deliver food and related products to customers, adhere to DOT regulations, and ensure timely, safe deliveries.

You will serve as the face of the company with customers, follow safety inspections, maintain vehicle and paperwork, and work as part of a team to meet distribution needs. Competitive weekly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL-A license.
• 12 months CDL A commercial driving experience.
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• DOT health card current or able to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Perform safety checks and DOT-compliant inspections.
• Deliver and unload food and related products on schedule.
• Verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete required freight paperwork accurately.
