Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking an experienced delivery driver in Des Moines, IA. The role involves operating tractor-trailer or straight truck, delivering food and related products to customers on intrastate and interstate routes, and ensuring safety and DOT compliance.

You will interact with customers and team members, perform pre/post trip inspections, unload orders, document deliveries, and maintain equipment and paperwork throughout shifts. Valid CDL A and DOT health card are required.

Qualifications

• 12+ months commercial driving experience
• Valid CDL A
• DOT Health Card or ability to secure one
• Clean MVR for past 3 years
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass road test

Responsibilities

• Communicates professionally with customers, vendors and coworkers.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) per DOT regulations.
• Deliver and unload products to customers according to schedule.
• Verify deliveries with customers and obtain signatures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain equipment and general housekeeping in tractor and dock areas.
