Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver in Lafayette, LA. You will deliver food and related products to customers, ensuring timely, safe, and accurate deliveries while representing the company in a professional manner.

The role involves daily pre/post trip safety checks, loading/unloading freight, and completing paperwork. The position offers training pay, benefits from Day 1, and a Monday–Friday schedule in a fast-paced food distribution environment.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• Minimum 12 months commercial driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Able to pass post-offer drug test and background check.
• Attains or has a valid DOT Health Card.

Responsabilités

• Communicates with customers, vendors and co-workers professionally.
• Drives tractor trailer or straight truck per DOT regulations and company policy.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post trip) and inspections of equipment.
• Inspect and secure freight, verify deliveries and obtain customer signatures.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Deliver and unload items to customers on schedule and in good condition.
• Move and load freight, unload damaged goods or returns as required.
• Maintain daily log of hours of service per regulations.
