Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is seeking a CDL Class A driver to transport and deliver freight across long distances, ensuring safety, legality, and on-time performance.

You will complete required paperwork, maintain records, and uphold compliance with state and federal regulations while representing the company professionally. Ideal candidates have at least 1 year of CDL A experience and a high school diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 1-year CDL Class A driving tractor trailer or reefer experience required.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work well with others in fast-paced environments.
• Respectful, approachable and team-oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Transport and deliver freight over the road across long distances in a safe, efficient, timely and legal manner.
• Complete paperwork and maintain records required under state and federal laws.
• Ensure operations comply with all laws and regulations.
• Represent the Company and trucking industry professionally.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
