Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a Feed Delivery Driver to join our team. You will complete a driver training program and drive to deliver feed while upholding safety and animal welfare as top priorities.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, at least 1 year of commercial driving experience, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays. A DOT medical card is required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Current Class A CDL is required.
• 1 year of commercial driving experience is required.
• Must be at least 21 years old and have a clean driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card upon hire.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Complete a driver training program successfully.
• Follow safety procedures while driving, delivering feed and loading/unloading with animal welfare as priority.
• Comply with DOT rules and regulations.
• Report any accidents promptly through proper authorities.
• Adhere to all rules set by the receiving agent.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
