Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking drivers to haul steel and coils on flatbed routes with consistent weekly pay and home weekends. Drivers earn 27% of load revenue, with no forced dispatch and optional OTR for higher pay.

Qualified candidates hold a valid Class A CDL, have 1+ year OTR in the last 5 years, and 6+ months flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes. DOT physical and drug screening are required.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of verifiable OTR experience within the last 5 years.
• 6+ months of flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes.
• Must pass DOT physical and urine drug screening.
• No SAP, failed or refused DOT drug tests, or safety-related terminations.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel and coils on flatbed routes.
• Be home every weekend—Friday night or Saturday morning through Monday.
• Operate assigned Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680.
• Tarping, detention, layover, and breakdown pay as applicable.

Pay & Home Time

• $1,500-$1,600 average weekly pay

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and minimum age 21
• 1+ year of verifiable OTR experience within the last 5 years
• 6+ months of flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes
• No SAP, failed or refused DOT drug tests, or safety-related terminations
• Must pass DOT physical and urine drug screening
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 1 major violation
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years for sign-on bonus eligibility
