Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking qualified CDL drivers for flatbed routes hauling steel and coils. Expect weekly pay between $1,500 and $1,600, with 27% of load revenue and home every weekend, Friday night or Saturday morning through Monday.

Optional OTR is available for higher pay; we provide tarping, layover, detention, and breakdown pay. Assigned Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680, no forced dispatch, and rider policies apply.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of verifiable OTR experience within last 5 years.
• Flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes.
• Must pass DOT physical and urine drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel and coils on flatbed routes.
• Tarping, layover, detention, and breakdown pay where applicable.
• Maintain compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.

Pay & Home Time

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL and minimum age 21
• 1+ year of verifiable OTR experience within the last 5 years
• 6+ months of flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes
• No SAP, failed or refused DOT drug tests, or safety-related terminations
• Must pass DOT physical and urine drug screening
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• No more than 1 major violation
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years for sign-on bonus eligibility
