Job summary

Blue Ridge Haulers is seeking drivers to haul steel and coils on consistent flatbed routes. Expect about 2,800 miles per week with home every weekend and compensation at 27% of load revenue.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,500 to $1,600, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus and orientation travel coverage. Optional OTR is available for higher pay; no forced dispatch, tarping and other paid add-ons apply.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and minimum age 21.
• 1+ year of verifiable OTR experience within the last 5 years.
• 6+ months of flatbed experience hauling steel, coils, or pipes.
• No SAP, failed or refused DOT drug tests, or safety-related terminations.
• Must pass DOT physical and urine drug screening
• No more than 1 at-fault accident in the last 3 years.
• No more than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years.
• No more than 1 major violation.
• No more than 6 jobs in the last 3 years for sign-on bonus eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Haul steel and coils on flatbed routes.

• Operate assigned Freightliner Cascadia or Kenworth T680.
• Tarping, layover, detention, and breakdown pay included.
