Job summary

Perdue Farms is seeking a Feed Delivery Driver to keep livestock operations supplied on schedule. You will load, transport, and deliver feed to assigned farms, coordinating with dispatch to meet daily priorities and ensuring accuracy in weight and timing.

This role requires a Class A CDL, 2+ years of CDL-A driving experience, and basic reading, writing, and math skills. You will perform pre-trip inspections, document fuel use and logs, and operate equipment safely in varying weather conditions.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent required.
• Class A CDL license required.
• At least 2 years of CDL-A driving experience, preferably delivering feed.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and accurately load and deliver feed to assigned customers with dispatcher coordination.
• Perform pre-trip truck inspections per DOT requirements and report defects.
• Ensure correct feed weight is loaded and delivered to farms.
• Operate boom to direct feed and prevent spills; report issues.
• Keep accurate fuel, trip tickets, logs and time sheets.
