Job summary

Perdue Foods in North Carolina is seeking a Feed Delivery Driver to load, transport, and deliver feed to customers, coordinating with dispatch to meet daily priorities. You will be the frontline for safe loading, accurate records, and on-time deliveries.

The role requires a Class A CDL, 2+ years driving feed experience, and ability to work outdoors in all weather. You will support equipment maintenance awareness and follow DOT safety procedures daily.

Qualifications

• High School or equivalent.
• Class A CDL license.
• 2+ years of CDL A driving experience, preferably delivering feed.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver feed to assigned customers safely and on schedule.
• Perform pre-trip truck inspections in line with DOT requirements.
• Ensure correct feed weight is loaded and delivered to farms.
• Operate boom to direct feed and report spills or issues.
• Maintain fuel receipts, trip tickets, and daily logs.
• May climb to load/inspect equipment and assist with loading as needed.
• Perform other duties as required.
