Responsibilities include unloading cargo, maintaining trip logs, and ensuring all required documents and signatures are secured. The position emphasizes attention to safety, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and flexible work hours.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience operating a vehicle requiring a CDL.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Hold a current Class A Commercial Driver's License.
• Complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical, and background check.

Responsibilities

• Unload or assist in unloading using a forklift or hand truck.
• Maintain a detailed log of trips.
• Operate a semi-truck with one trailer while ensuring compliance with state laws.
• Chocks placed to secure wheels before unloading and removed after.
• Obtain shipping bills of lading and necessary signatures; file paperwork.
• Perform routine vehicle checks and report maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Adhere to safety policies and procedures; drive with care to prevent damage to cargo.
