Job summary

IRONCLAD Powered by Mersino is seeking a full-time truck driver to operate company trucks for long- and short-distance routes, including overnight runs. You will manage deliveries, pickups, and relocation of products while maintaining safety and DOT compliance.

You will perform routine vehicle maintenance, complete required reports, and deliver exceptional customer service during every interaction. A high school diploma and valid CDL A with manual endorsement are required.

• Drive heavy truck equipment on short and long-distance routes as needed.
• Be prepared for overnight trips and learning to operate company MHE.

Typical Duties And Responsibilities

• Operate company owned and leased trucks over 4 tons to facilitate shipping and receiving operations
• Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation "user maintenance" and provide required reports
• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations
• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs
• Maintain and protect all property entrusted to you in excellent condition
• Perform any other tasks assigned to support and improve the overall team operations
• Understand, complete and manage required technical documentation
• Drive heavy truck equipment on both short and long-distance routes as required
• Ability to make overnight runs as required by shipping needs
• Must be able to learn to operate all MHE used by the company
• Ability to work outside in various weather conditions.
• Ability to work flexible schedule to meet job requirements

Specific Expectations

• The ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines
• Ability to travel long-distance and overnight
• Requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward
