Job summary

W-L Construction and Paving, a CRH company, seeks a dependable CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Hauler to transport equipment between job sites and support construction operations. This role involves moving multi-axle and tractor vehicles safely to meet daily production schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work safely in a construction environment.
• May require pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Minimum of two years of CDL driving experience.
• HAZMAT/Tanker endorsements may be required for certain assignments.

Responsibilities

• Transport construction equipment safely between job sites as directed by supervisors.
• Mobilize equipment with crews to support daily schedules and production goals.
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures while operating vehicles and equipment.
• Perform daily truck inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
• Assist with flagging operations when required.
• Maintain PPE and ensure it remains in proper working condition.
• Support crew operations and assist with other tasks to ensure project completion.
• Maintain a professional and courteous attitude with coworkers, customers and the public.
