Job description

Pay: $1,300 to $1,500 per week running 2,500–2,600 miles
Home Time: Home after 7–9 days out with a full 34+ hour reset
Freight: 85–90% drop-and-hook regional freight
Location: Hartford, CT 06103

  • 2,500–2,600 miles per week
  • Late-model Kenworth T680 equipment
  • 85–90% drop-and-hook freight
  • No runs into NYC or New Jersey

Dry van freight flow and consistent dispatch coordination give experienced CDL-A drivers a regional setup built around productive weekly mileage, a high percentage of drop-and-hook freight, and flexible home-time options along the route.

Drivers run 2,500–2,600 miles per week with 85–90% drop-and-hook freight. The regional setup reduces time spent loading and unloading while giving drivers the mileage needed to maintain a productive workweek.

Pay & Weekly Miles

Drivers earn $1,300 to $1,500 per week while running 2,500–2,600 miles. Additional earnings include detention pay, layover pay, holiday pay, accessorial pay, and optional hazmat opportunities.

Pay is deposited weekly through direct deposit. The combination of weekly mileage, additional pay opportunities, and a high percentage of drop-and-hook freight gives experienced drivers a straightforward regional setup with clearly defined earning potential.

Equipment & Driver Comfort

Drivers operate late-model Kenworth T680 automatic trucks equipped for regional work and extended time on the road.

  • Smart Idle systems and bunk heaters
  • Double bunks and 1500w inverters
  • Brand-new mattresses

The equipment setup gives drivers the cab features needed for both driving time and overnight rest while running regional freight.

Home Time & Running Area

Drivers typically run 7–9 days followed by a full 34+ hour home reset.

  • Home time can be taken anywhere along the driver's route
  • No runs into NYC or New Jersey

Drivers also have access to more than 30 terminals nationwide, providing convenient locations for clean showers, gyms, laundry facilities, and support services while away from home.
