Job summary

Liberty Tire Recycling is seeking a Class A CDL Driver – Drop & Hook in Grove City, OH. The role involves safe pickup, transport, and delivery of tires with drop and hook operations, with routes assigned by dispatch. Home daily and an annual salary in the $75,000–$85,000 range are highlighted.

Qualifications

• Must have valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• Minimum age 22 years old.
• Must meet all FMCSA driver qualification requirements.
• Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record in compliance with DOT standards.
• Minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience or equivalent Class A CDL driving experience.

Responsibilities

• Safely remove and transport tires from customer locations to Liberty Tire Recycling facilities or approved disposal sites.
• Perform drop and hook trailer operations, exchanging loaded and empty trailers at locations and yards.
• Ensure loads are secured and compliant with DOT and company safety requirements.
• Complete DVIRs, logs, bills of lading, manifests, and paperwork accurately.
• Collect and transport payments from cash-only customers per cash-handling procedures.
• Maintain clean, safe, and operational equipment at all times.
• Navigate routes using maps and GPS while accounting for traffic and site conditions.
• Interact professionally with customers, dispatch, and internal teams.
