Southern Ag Carriers, Inc. is a premier transportation company specializing in delivering agricultural products across the southern United States. This regional driving role operates within a 500-mile radius of Jonesboro, AR.

Drivers may choose between Monday–Friday or Sunday–Thursday work schedules, with earnings of $1,400 to $1,600 per week. Join a safety‑focused team committed to reliable service, while maintaining accurate delivery records and complying with DOT regulations.

Qualifications

• At least 23 years of age.
• 2 years of verifiable experience driving commercial vehicle in the last 5 years.
• Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A).
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Road Test.
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Physical Requirements.
• Must pass job assessment test ( functional capacity test).
• Must practice good personal hygiene.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate heavy and tractor-trailer trucks to transport goods to various destinations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights, brakes, and trailer connections.
• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules while complying with all traffic regulations and safety standards.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and any issues encountered during transport.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery times and address any delays or issues.
• Comply with company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal transportation regulations.
• Monitor vehicle condition and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
• Provide excellent customer service by demonstrating professionalism and courtesy at all times.

• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Must pass Federal Department of Transportation Physical Requirements.
• Must pass job assessment test ( functional capacity test).
• Must practice good personal hygiene.
