Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Lithia Springs, GA is seeking a CDL A Driver to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, manage paperwork, and ensure safe delivery of materials to customer sites.

You will load/unload, secure loads, operate a heavy-duty truck, and uphold DOT/OSHA safety standards while maintaining clear communication with dispatch and customers. Benefits begin day one. Competitive pay and performance incentives apply.

Qualifications

• Current/Active CDL Class A License required.
• Minimum two years of experience after CDL school.
• Must pass Driver's Testing and DOT Physical/Drug Testing.
• Proficiency in English and basic math to understand weights and limits.
• Strong reasoning and ability to follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with statutory, regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Completes paperwork including manifests and shipping/receiving documents.
• Maintains required certifications per DOT/OSHA and safety programs.
• Loads and unloads finished goods and raw materials; secures loads for transit.
• Uses computerized system to process shipments and communicates with customers and supervisor.
• Drives truck (>3 tons) to specified destinations and manages delivery receipts.
• Occasionally collects payment for goods delivered and delivery charges.
• Offloads for customers and ensures cargo is secured with blocks/ropes.
• Maintains regular communication and exercises good judgment in emergencies.
