Job summary

Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions in Bradenton, FL is seeking a CDL A Driver for the Day Shift. You will perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load/unload materials, secure loads for transit, and maintain clear communication with customers and supervisors to ensure timely deliveries.

The role requires an active CDL A, at least two years of over-the-road experience, DOT and Drug testing compliance, English proficiency, basic math, and good problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• CDL A license with at least two years of experience after CDL school.
• Must pass Driver's Testing.
• Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Testing.
• Proficient in English.
• Basic math to understand weight and truck limits.
• Ability to solve practical problems and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with all statutory, regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Completes paperwork including manifest, shipping and receiving documents.
• Maintains DOT/OSHA safety certifications and company safety programs.
• Loads and unloads finished goods and raw ingredients; secures loads for transit.
• Operates computerized systems to process shipments and transactions.
• Drives trucks >3 tons to specified destinations and manages receipts.
• Communicates with customers, supervisors, and colleagues to receive delivery instructions.
