Job summary

Trulite Glass and Aluminum Solutions in Columbus, OH is hiring a CDL B Driver responsible for pre-trip/post-trip inspections, loading/unloading shipments, and secure transit of goods. You will work 1st shift with OT as needed and receive day-one benefits, a $2,000 sign-on bonus, and weekly pay.

Strong organizational and safety compliance are essential. Must have a CDL Class B and at least two years of experience after CDL training, pass required tests, and be able to read/interpret shipping

Qualifications

• Current/Active CDL Class B license with minimum two years of experience after CDL school.
• Must pass Driver's Testing and DOT/ME C medical and drug screenings.
• Proficient in English and basic math for weight and truck limits.
• Able to perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Performs pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Complies with all regulatory requirements and company policy.
• Completes paperwork including manifest and shipping/receiving documents.
• Maintains DOT/OSHA certifications and safety programs.
• Loads/unloads finished goods and raw materials; secures load for transit.
• Learns and uses the computerized system to process shipments.
• Assists customers with offloading and collects receipts as needed.
• Maintains communication with supervisor for delivery instructions.
