Job summary

Wausau Supply Company seeks a Distribution Material Handler/Back Up Driver to support our distribution network. The role performs warehouse tasks, loads and unloads freight, and drives customer deliveries when needed. CDL-A with air brake, DOT compliance, and forklift certification are required.

Applicants should be reliable, punctual, and able to lift heavy items. This is a full-time on-site position with opportunities for advancement and training.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Must pass a DOT physical and a DOT pre-employment drug test.
• Forklift certification is required for loading/unloading.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming/outgoing freight using a handheld computer.
• Pick product for customer orders and stage for loading.
• Load orders onto semi-trucks and unload stock onto racking.
• Maintain driver logs and inspection reports per DOT regulations.
• Inspect truck condition before and after trips and ensure load safety.
• Deliver to customer locations and return; work flexible hours.
