Job summary

Wausau Supply Company in Rochelle, IL, seeks a dedicated warehouse and truck driver with a Class A CDL to receive, pick, and load freight for customers. You will handle loading, unloading, and securing loads, while following DOT regulations and maintaining accurate driver logs.

Daily duties include forklift operations and ensuring safety during transportation. The role requires reliable, punctual performance, strong math and organizational skills, and a customer-service mindset while working

Qualifications

• Must possess a Class A CDL with air brake endorsement.
• Must pass a D.O.T. Physical.
• Must pass a DOT Pre-employment drug test.
• Must be forklift certified.

Responsibilities

• Use handheld computer to receive incoming and outgoing freight.
• Pick product for customer orders and stage for loading.
• Load orders on semi-trucks.
• Unload stock onto racking.
• Inspect truck for defects and report condition.
• Ensure loads comply with DOT regulations and are safe.
• Drive truck safely to customer locations and back.
• Maintain driver logs and inspections according to DOT rules.
• Maintain a professional image at all times.
• Be forklift certified to assist in loading/unloading.
